JimCon was delighted to help run the games room for Keycon 34 over the 2017 Victoria Day weekend at the Radisson Hotel in Winnipeg.

Our ever-popular demo library was in attendance, along with a host of scheduled games and other events. We always make a special effort at Keycon to tie in to the themes of the year, and this year was no exception. To contribute to ‘Look what we can do’ (a celebration of canadian content and producers) Doc from Shared Weave Games was on hand demonstrating Over da’ Boards, Allan of May Contain Monkeys was kind enough to send copies of the diceless, GM-less, one-shot RPG Paranormal Rescue Squad. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of The Princess Bride we ran a themed competition all weekend, the dread-hatter-roberts challenge, with many con-goers coming by to test thier dueling skills against our dread-hatter in the game The Princess Bride: I Hate to Kill You

JimCon looks forwards to continuing our strong relationship with Keycon 35, with next years theme “Magic vs Technology”, perhaps time for some old-school Shadowrun?

Our social media Jimions were busy all weekend taking pictures, making posts and tweeting, catch the highlights in this album. Tag yourself, and like and share the best of what you see. We look forwards to seeing you at ai-kon July 21-23 and C4 (Central Canada Comic-Con October 17-19
